Explanations: how Exoplanets are discovered

I used After Effects and Trapcode to create my visual elements, the music was made by Bobby Green, and my voice was recorded with a zoom mic from the cage.

How Exoplanets are discovered Script:

Imagine that you’re a scientist and you wonder how would I discover a planet outside our solar system

Well you would use a space telescope such as the kepler space observatory

planets outside our solar system are known as exoplanets and to discover them we can use the transit method

Which uses the brightness of a star to find an exoplanet

If an Exoplanet is discovered the star will periodically show a measurable drop in its brightness while the exoplanet orbits in front the star

With this method scientists can also study the size or atmosphere of the exoplanet by using a spectrograph which is an instrument used to separate light into a wavelength to record and analyze many different types of data
