Illustrated Journal #6

The golden ratio is something that has been used by the best artists and architects throughout history andhas been considered a key secret to making great art.  The ratio of the sides of the golden ratio is 1.618, similar to pi this is an irrational number.

This is called the golden mean or golden ratio and if this process is repeated a spiral can be created, this spiral is also refered to as the fibonacci sequence.  Here are some examples that i took the time to draw out.
