Understanding comics notes and thoughts

I think understanding comics by Scott McCloud is very interesting and informative, definitely worth the read.

On page 6 Scott states “The trick is to never mistake the message” i agree, that is very important for most things.

On page 15 Scott states “I have no idea where or when comics originated” and neither do i.

On page 42 Scott states “When drawing the face and figure, nearly all comics Artists apply atleast some small measure of cartooning.  Even the more realistic adventure artists.”  This is true and i also just realized every letter has been capitalized so far.

Overall understanding comics was interesting to read and very informitive too, i will have to reread this soon incase i missed a few things.  It seems useful and full of great art and direction.
